So, with sweater project on the (regrettably long) homestretch, I am looking at leftover baby blanket material. (If you are making a 45" square baby blanket and the material is 45" wide and sold in "whole yards only" you are going to have leftover material. That's just math, that is.)

Nov. 29th, 2021 07:59 amYes. I actually still am making a sweater. It's got the body part from neck to waistband finished and one whole sleeve done. So, in terms of completion, it's about 50% done. (The last sleeve takes forever.) I'm currently working on spinning enough yarn to knit the second sleeve and am about halfway done with that. I'm still on board with the sweater and making headway at the knitting and also at the spinning yarn to knit *with*.

It's time for handicrafting!
Oct. 30th, 2021 11:05 pmToday was rainy and chilly and ick all day so aside from a brief outing to (a) the feed store and (b) the grocery store and (c) feeding the boys over at Laur's house, the entirety of the day was consumed by handicrafts and being warm in front of the fire.
