One a day, plus iron

Headline says most of it, really. Brother the younger is running for judge and I will be seriously happy when elections are over in a week or so. Kind of tired of hearing about the (location) judge election, over here.

So I have a friend Lala which makes it sound like I don't have a ton of friends. I have some friends but as I'm not actually all that social and also kind of odd, I don't have a ton of friends. I don't make them easily and I don't accumulate too many because it's exhausting. So, I guess that's fair enough. Anyway, I made her some knitted potholders here a while ago, along about the beginning of the month.

Someone asked me about commissions in knitting. I do not do commissions for a variety of reasons but the easiest one to explain to other people is economic. Wanna know (part of) why I don’t knit for hire?
