Aug. 7th, 2008 07:04 amSo I rode the pony last night.
We did up and down the hill, with trotting in between all sections, for about an hour. Horse was lightly sweated up, which I expected. She also lost an easyboot somewhere, which I have to go hunt up. The rest of the ride was uneventful.
Following horse, I fixed Hazel's computer (She'd minimized her email and couldn't open it back up again. Hazel is in her early nineties and the fact that she uses a computer impresses me.) and she gave me three very large eggs (overachieving chicken sized) from her chickens and three perfectly-ripe tomatoes from her garden.
Haven't tried the eggs yet, but the tomatoes are perfect. Yum! I've been getting cherry tomatoes from my plants but no big tomatoes are ripe yet. They're huge and green and apparently going to stay that way forever.
When I got home, I got caught up on season 4 of Weeds. Yay bittorrent. The mayor of Tj is hot.
