Unseasonably warm weekend in which Many Things Get Done

Saturday! Went to feed store, moved feed bins from chicken coop to tack shed (winter prep), unloaded feed, rode Bird. Loaded three feed sacks with fluffy dry horse poop for mulching. Came home, mowed grass for final time this season, put mower away for the winter. Mulched roses and peonies with horse poop. Cooked gooseneck squash custard. Drove into work, got applications for #6, waxed floors (second coat) in #6, opened up 17 for adult son of tenant (tenant is moving to assisted living). Bought fuel additive for diesel pickup, put IN diesel pickup when back home.

Sunday! Got wood chips and mulched behind raspberries to keep weeds down. Taught Finn to lead in-hand at the trot, yay. Very peaceful effort. Came home, removed old door stop trim from kitchen door, painted (one coat) weather stripping improved door stop. (The weather stripping improved door stop has been sitting, primed, in the corner of my living room for at least one full year, lest you somehow think I get shit done all the time. I do not get shit done all the time.) Ran a load of wash because I needed clean breeches for dressage effort. Painted door jamb. Painted windows in door. Painted cat scratch damage on front door. Cleaned cat litters. Cooked breakfast and ate it. Cleaned out work truck bed, removed bed liner, cleaned UNDER bed liner, reinstalled bed liner. Hooked up trailer, got horse and tack loaded, went to dressage clinic with DLB. Filmed horse friend N.'s ride. Rode horse for DLB. Drove home, put horse and tack away, put trailer away, parked truck. Cooked dinner, ate dinner, am posting to tell you all how very productive I was this weekend.

I don't know how to get this much stuff done every weekend but if I ever figure it out, I will write a self-help book and make millions.

My diesel guy suggested it. Lucas 10013 Fuel Treatment. I have a 2002 7.3L F250, so not a young beastie. It has occasional... hiccups (no lights light up, no errors on the computer but it just kind of hiccups) and the Lucas stuff drops those hiccups from about four per 20 mile trip to one per 40 mile trip. Truck also seems to smooth out faster on starting but that may be a placebo observation. I don't know as it would be all that useful for a newer truck, though. I buy the big jug and then decant it into a serving-size bottle I keep on hand.
