Jon and Mark have a webcomic that I've been reading since it started. Not only are they great, smart, funny guys who (respectively) write and draw a dandy comic with Mad Scientists and Robot Minions and plans to Take Over The World, but Jon allows me to pretend that he has never seen me in a lavender taffeta bridesmaid dress and Mark says genuinely kind things about my cooking. Anyway, today their webcomic showed up on Steve Jackson's website with a positive review and they're pretty thrilled about that.

Also. Dentist appointment today. I hate dentist appointments. A lot. They are, however, more tolerable than the Evil Perio Guy appointments. *sigh* I will be a good girl and go to my dentist appointment even though I don't want to. Stupid responsibility. Stupid being-a-grownup.

Note to self: Primary care physician. Get one and go see it before the end of the month. MaryAlice stuck the number on your computer screen. Call. Make appointment. This is not rocket science. Stupid responsibility. Stupid being-a-grownup. Stupid worrisome, god-I-hope-it's-a-fibroid lump. I do not need this. (No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition! This sort of thing is not like pizza delivery, where you have to order first. It comes without being ordered. Also, people probably wouldn't whine about being randomly and unexpectedly visited with an instance of Large Pepperoni and Mushroom.) Call the fucking doctor. You can do this.

Actually, "pizzaing" is a well-worn tactic of the professional ratfucker. Something to do with disorienting and harassing the other team, IIRC. John Nadzam came up with a nasty variant where you dope the pepperoni-and-mushroom with prescription-strength laxatives for extra distraction and harassment value, although I have no evidence that this particular variant has ever actually been deployed in action.
