which_chickOkay, results for the canoe thing are online. They're here. We finished in 49:32:15 this year. We were slower than all three 2-dudes-in-a-canoe entrants over the distance, but we did beat some 2-people-in-a-canoe folks. Four of the 10 other 2-people-in-a-canoe teams came in faster than we did. (All four of the teams that finished before we did were 2-dudes-in-a-canoe. One of them was parent-n-kid, both dudes.) Six of the ten finished slower than we did. I'd say that we paddled faster than mid-size children and girlfriends. Overall (including kayaks) we came in 15th out of 30 over the 5K distance.
