I was going to make squash soup this evening but I didn't have mushrooms or coriander. Dude, I totally need to make a list and go shopping for spices. I am really hoping we can square a shopping trip to the Philly Penzey's over NYE. Must check that.

I had half a baked butternut squash and a cuke made into instant-pickles and, er, a bowl of popcorn (not the microwave kind). The other half of the squash can be dinner tomorrow, or soup, if I stop at the store and buy the missing pieces.

After supper, I worked on spinning -- getting better with that. The current project is for more fluffy yarn than I am currently able to spin. My bent is not for fluffy yarn, so this is something that I have to work at. Progress is being made, though never as fast as I would like. I also did some research into navajo plying and that went pretty well.

Tomorrow at work I reckon we'll be looking for water leaks at 629 -- the bill for the quarter is over a thousand dollars. Something is definitely wrong, there. I do not *want* to be under the fucking trailer, but I suspect that is where I am going to be. We just fucking fixed a shitload of leaks under the trailer a month or so ago. (I R SMRT. See here.) There surely can't be new leaks there. It's not fair. (The other options for leaks are the little house (probably not) and the trailer that does not belong to us... neither of which has an ongoing history of leaking.) In my more appealing night-time dreams, we throw away the crappy trailer and install water meters for each trailer and the little house and I never again have to be underneath the crappy trailer.
