I went out to see Charlotte at Joe's on Friday. The second batch of brownies went well. The reason there was a second batch of brownies was that the first batch.. no, I don't want to talk about it. Let me just say that the first batch of brownies could have been used to club someone into unconsciousness.



During the visiting, I asked Charlotte to look at some pictures from Lynn Ann's daughter Anna because Lynn Ann wanted some suggestions for how to encourage/support Anna's photography. Since Charlotte teaches the AP photography class at her local high school and is an artist and all that, I collared her as the resident artist on tap. Anna has a flickr account (finally) and has posted some of her stuff there. This one is my favorite... and long-time careful readers will remember when I posted about it the first time. Anyway, go take a look if that's the sort of thing that interests you.

I also took a lot of pictures of Youbee, but in an amazing display of restraint, I only posted six or so. Yay for me. For the people who don't know how to work bookmarking/favorites, my flickr is here.

Boo broke her arm (snapped radius and ulna right above the wrist) on Friday, getting bucked off of Casper while riding double with April. She got a hot pink cast because the color choices were dark blue or hot pink and clearly, there would be no dark blue. Boo is, I think, four. Possibly five. (She's Cass's little sister, Cass that I ride with? That one.)

I've got a horse outing this morning -- still waiting on accessories for the new saddle, which is kind of annoying. Perhaps they will arrive on Monday.

They do AP Photography? When I was a kid, they did AP for the major courses - English, American and European History, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Biology. Just how much of college can you get out of the way in high school these days?
