We're starting work an hour early today in an attempt to beat some of the heat. Yesterday, we called off work on account of excessively hot weather at 1 PM so I went out on the lake and floated around on a floaty. Note to self: Just because your arms and shoulders are brown enough to take anything the sun can dish out does NOT mean that your pasty white belly and backs-of-legs are similarly invulnerable to Mr. Sun's warming rays. On the plus side, nothing is pasty white anymore...
