which_chickTrys came over last night and we bought plane tickets to Amsterdam. Turns out that June is the near-peak touristy season and that it's going to cost just about $930 per person to fly there and back. *ouch* But we have tickets now. Then we looked at hotels. Sticker shock, o' course, so she got assigned the job of looking at hotels and reporting back. I do not want to spend a damn fortune on this freaking trip but I have a feeling that's what is going to happen. *sigh* It's only money.
