ksleet's kidney donation thing (his sister has pkd and he donated a kidney to her because hers had stopped working) was yesterday. Apparently that all went swimmingly. I just got an email update on the situation that was practically glowing in terms of successfulness. This is good. I'm quite fond of him and I was sort of worried about the whole thing. I know that kidney donating and transplanting is kind of routine nowadays -- it's not exactly bleeding-edge technology -- but it's still a pretty big deal in my book. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and return to the wonderful world of video game programming (that's his day job) and web comic drawing (his not-so-day job).
