The rate on my ingdirect.com account went up to three percent yesterday. Go, interest rates, go! (Some days I feel like the only person in the world cheering for higher interest rates.)

Busy day at work today. I learned how to change the oil and sharpen the blades on regular push-sized lawnmowers. Tools were involved. The whole thing was so manly that it made me want to pee standing up. Fortunately, my good sense prevailed before it was time to actually *try* peeing standing up. Also there was a lot of filling of potholes in the dirt road. That was okay, I guess. At least the weather was stellar for dinking around outside. That part was perfection itself, over seventy and sunny. Damn nice weather for early April.

After work I went to play with the horse, who continues to be well. She's coming along nicely. I'm actually looking forward to the horse function this weekend because I really want to take her out for a spin. (Perhaps I spent too much time in the sun filling potholes... this is, after all, the lunatical red horse that hasn't been broken to ride by an experienced trainer person. It was all just me. I keep hoping that she never figures out I'm not a pro and that she doesn't *really* have to listen to me.)

I have just promised La that I will (swear upon my heart and sacred honor) ride the red horse in the competitve ride this fall. Urk. Me and my big mouth.
