Feb. 13th, 2006 12:30 pmBrother-the-younger (that'd be the attorney) and his son built an igloo/snow castle in their yard following The Big Snow that hit much of the east coast over the weekend. Here is a picture. Note that the boy actually fits inside -- this is essential to the coolness of the structure, as if you couldn't figure that out on your own.
While I will never participate in the great game of parenting, I do watch other people play. It appears to me, from the sidelines, that one of the most rewarding things about parenting has to be when you pull off something amazing that your kid will remember forever. In the yard of my brother's house, there is an igloo/snow castle made out of snow packed into five gallon buckets and because of this, to his son, he is a giant among men.
You could do worse with a snow day.
