FWIW, I just got an email from an attorney recently (one to whom I refer particularly difficult criminal cases) in which he informed me that a common client of ours had a "fleeing and alluding" charge reduced to disorderly conduct. This is from a pretty smart guy who has prosecuted murder cases (before he switched over to the "good guys" on the defense side of the bar).
