Time for a game, kids. insidian has a really good game where she provides lame summaries of movies and people try to guess the movie. It's a really good game and I'm stealing the idea for use with anime. This is because my geekiness knows no bounds.



1. This guy hangs out with this other guy while two insurance agents chase after him.

2. A guy, another guy, and a chick travel the solar system with a young girl and a welsh corgi while chasing bounties that they rarely collect.

3. A girl lives with a family where everyone turns into a zodiac animal.

4. Five guys dress up in giant fighting robot outfits and fight two other guys while surrounded by political babble. One of the five guys is stalked by a useless girl in pink.

5. A guy and three other guys take a road trip in a jeep.

6. A dead guy and his (also dead) younger partner do supernatural detective work.

7. A girl and her friend go live in a book for a while. One of the guys in the book is a transvestite.

8. A girl goes to a boarding school and tries to become a prince through repeated exposure to roses, swords, and lots of subtext.

9. Four guys are florists by day and assassins by night.

10. A spineless guy who sings in a band falls for an arrogant shit who writes romance novels.

11. This guy, who has *got* to be a lot smarter than he looks, decides that what he really, really needs is a soft job in the armed forces.

12. A boy learns a trade from his invisible ghost friend who wears a tall hat.

13. An office lady has a hamster. The hamster tries to be helpful but generally isn't.

14. The captain of a sports team, who is entirely cooler than the main character, suffers an injury and winds up going to Germany for rehab for something like sixty episodes.

Some of the others sound like I should know them but I just can't place them. Though I will admit that number 6 makes me think of Matantei Loki Ragnarok but I don't think it is.

I don't do shy. Someone once took it upon herself to tell me that I was not, under any circumstances, to entertain thoughts of doing shy until shy'd had the opportunity to put rather a few more miles on itself and, in the process, wear all the shy parts down a bit. (For the record, that bit of advice was delivered to me during a time when selectivity wasn't a characteristic I brought to the *ahem* table [bed, bathtub, major appliance, car backseat, stairwell...] in what I suppose we must call relationships despite their brevity and general lack of emotional involvement. Probably it wasn't the world's worst piece of advice at the time.) At any rate, I don't do shy, so it looks like poor Cats is out of luck even though he's a damn fine looking man cyborg.
