Feb. 14th, 2005 10:37 pmMonday night is grocery night! (I am Jack's astonishingly ineffective attempt to sound enthusiastic about the rather lackluster dagger grocery store I see before me.)
Old budget was $1809.09.
I spent $22.79 this evening.
New budget: $1786.30
Constant reader will probably be aware that this week was supposed to be collards week at Chez Moi. The grocery store, it must be said, did not contain any collards so it's GOING TO BE bok choy week instead of collards week. (I do not adore bok choy the way I do collards, but they were the prettiest green the store had.) Now, you might think that this would lead into a lovely rant on the state of the freaking grocery and some nights it might. Not, however, tonight. Tonight I have a DVD of Caligula, a film I have not yet seen and which I intend to watch over dinner. The employee loaned it to me. I think he's probably trying to get me back for loaning him the entirely too squicky Audition.
