Home Improvements, Kitchen Part 2, etc.

So I bought paint for the kitchen/living room which is more or less one open area in my ginormous 768 square foot house. It's a sorta peachy white. Like it's not quite white nor is it actually a peach color. Think of it as a warm-toned white. (It is not white. White trim would look very white against it. But it's not, like, hugely pink.)
And I have Painted Some Things!
I have painted the wall with the Big Yellow-Green Painting and the Wall with the Door and the Wall With the Closet of Water-shutoffs and 1/2 of the hallway. I have painted the Wall with the Thermostat and the Wall where the fridge sits and part of the Wall with the stove. (I need to move the stove out from the wall to do behind it and so forth.)
I have to do Over The Cabinets, which sucks. I have to move the china cupboard, which also sucks. Half the delay here is fucking around moving things that I don't want paint splatters on. Wow, I have too much stuff. The first draft of painting is about 3/4 done but it's the easy 3/4. There's also drywall patch and shit that has to be done to have a fully satisfactory painting job. Ugh.
But Also!!
I have thrown away Three Bags Of Things that I don't use, have never used, and do not want/need. Go Me!! They are not just Thrown Away, they have LEFT THE HOUSE and are IN A DUMPSTER FAR AWAY.
I (again) triage'd the recycling and took away Two Buckets of Not Worth The Effort. This was in addition to the Three Bags Of Things, above.
I am Evaluating The Ownership Of Things like, say, CDs and DVDs. I have no means of playing either of these items anymore. The odds of monetizing any DVDs... I tried the app for that and there is no value. Shit's like a quarter apiece if it's worth anything. Most of it isn't even worth that. Not worth boxing it up, tbh. Fuckitall. I am shitcanning the lot. It will probably happen in stages but I am totally on board with this. Do not need. Cannot use. Done. Bye, Felicia.
And I put up a 4' track light in the (painted) kitchen ceiling to replace a buzzy 4' fluorescent that was getting slower and slower to light up. It has three aimable lights that I have aimed appropriately. Kitchen is now SO BRIGHT. Yay! There are two holes left by the 4' fluorescent that need to be patched though. Ugh.
And in the painting, I have been taking down my art paintings and cleaning them off and rehanging them with proper drywall anchors. So nice.
And my yarn for the bathroom mat of fulling arrived and needs to be wound into balls. That's for my TV time later tonight.
Truly it has been an exciting day of excitement over here.
