which_chickJuly was a month of busy. Lots of stuff -- Fiddler went to the fair (he did fine) and now he canters under saddle and everything. The horse people from NYC visited and said very nice things about Nick (who now comes with haunches-in) before they headed off to California. The first tomatoes have come out of the garden and been eaten. And I'm busily making things with the lathe.
I'm not going to the competitive ride this year (have to attend a wedding) but Fiddler is -- Laur is riding him -- and I'm apparently conditioning him. He's going down the road to his new owner in September, so he needs to ride pretty well by then.
Mostly I have very long days and I'm too tired to update crap when I get home.
