Conditioning again. Senior Horse more palatable (to Nick) than Ulti-Yum... at least until the Jersey stuck her head through the pipe gate and pushed down on the proximal end of the trough to make all the feed roll her way. Nick, eating out of the distal (relative to the cow) end of the trough, wound up whapped on the chinny-chin-chin by the flying end of the feed trough. She was not amused and it took her rather a long time to consider eating from the trough after that. The cow is apparently smarter than we figured, with the "push down on the trough to make the feed come to her" moves and all. Good thing she doesn't have opposable thumbs.
