which_chickWorked half a day Saturday. Gave up and went home to play with the horse. Fell off horse in a moment of stupidity (not paying attention, bareback, horse half-assedly trotting over ground poles, tripped). Horse stopped, let me keep hold of her, let me get back on. Went home under a cloud of shame, mowed lawn.
Spent the whole damn day Sunday at work, painting 18 at the Terrace. Stupid tenant painted it baby-shit tan (In flat. Always they use flat. Shows dirt INSTANTLY, people. Doesn't wash.) and then painted it white (In flat.), both times incompetently. Stupid baby-shit-tan and flat white is slopped all over the fucking trim. Holes in wall. Stupid tenant. (This is the same brain surgeon who covered up a perfectly good tiled tub surround by putting VINYL FLOORING over it. With adhesive, mind.)
Left work at 4, not that I was done, but I didn't stop for lunch and I was getting v. cranky.
Stove still needs to be cleaned, trim needs to be cleaned and painted, floor needs to be washed. Also one outlet needs to be replaced (broken) and one outlet needs to be replaced (due to color) and all the covers need the paint scrubbed off of them and reinstalled. They want to move in on the 18th, so probably I can get that stuff done tomorrow after mowing, if it doesn't rain. If it rains, I will definitely get it done because we will not be mowing.
Went and fed the ungratefuls. Ate half a head of raw cauliflower at La's house b/c was starved. Took a cute picture of Jasmine, which I didn't get online yet because I totally suck.
Came home and planted asparagus crowns in yard. That involved digging an asparagus bed extension, which was not an inconsiderable amount of work.
Settled down to photography project which I'd promised to the Absent Companion but two hundred shots of utter crap later, I gave up. I don't see how I can manage two hundred shots of crap when I'm damn well SKINNIER than I used to be, but there you go. Two hundred shots of crap. Bugger that for a lark, say I.
