I wish my life were more exciting like the lives of other people that I read about, but unfortunately, it isn't. Sorry, folks.
I drove Brother-the-Younger home the other day after Picnic. His woodpile, it is impressive. I am envious.
Stupid car died yesterday when I went over to play pony. It overheated, so I stopped it and let it cool off and poured more water in it, the which promptly ran out all over the damn ground, an event which even I know is wrong. I called the shop to come get it, which they did today. It needed a water pump. While they were fixing the water pump, they allowed as how it was also leaking gasoline from a fitting. They're installing a new fitting, too. (It didn't look very expensive.) I am optimistic that the car will be all done tomorrow because I need it on Thursday for pony, on Saturday for driving to Philadelphia, and on Sunday for driving to Baltimore and then back home.
Today after work, I played horse. Fed the red idiot and her baby (all her feet all pick up now and she kind of gets the whole leading thing). Fed Wren and played with her feet (she did well). Went home after that.
Watched episode 11 of Mad Men. Is it just me that's sort of squicked by Roger and his chickie? She's like his daughter's age. Eww, say I.
Tomorrow I'm dropping off the big green truck at Jackie's for apple pieces from the Church of the Brethren (Not pirates.) apple butter festivities. Jackie (My aunt, my dad's sister, cousin Heather's mom.) is a big kahuna with the apple buttering over at the Snake Spring C ot B and so I get dibs on the peels and cores, which will make some ponies very happy. :)
I also have to drive SJ to the hospital for some reason. That's at 9 in the morning.
Oh, and I have to pick up a floor polisher and drop it off at 16 for Sue to do the floors there.
(I said there was no news. See? No news. Thrill a minute, over here.)
Still having fun with foldit and lolfed. Fantastic Contraption ain't bad, either, as long as you turn the music off.
