It is hot out. We mowed grass at work today, starting at 6:00 am in a mostly-successful attempt to beat the heat. We also put in a window-unit air conditioner for SJ.



I am tired. I am sunburned in the area that illustrates the difference between t-shirt and tank top.

Something has eaten off half of three tomato plants. Two cherry tomatoes and one Koontz plant remain pristine as of this moment. Seven little peppers still look ok. One has bitten the dust due to the extreme heat.

The lady from whom I am buying the saddle sent me shipping price today so I paypal'd her the amount and expect shipping some time next week. It'd be cheaper to drive down but she doesn't seem entirely organized or able to devote any time to waiting on me to appear because her life is chock-full of Very Important Busy. Whatever, so I'll pay shipping. I don't give that much of a damn, really.

Big Court Day is Wednesday, so everybody stay tuned for that.

I was supposed to go do horse tonight but was actually too damn tired because of mowing all fucking day. It was ninety-five degrees out, humidity through the roof.

Here it is slugs that are eating everything. Maybe not half of whole (probably pretty large at this point) tomato plants, though. That sounds bigger (why the heck do "macrophage" and "macrofauna" not mean what they sound like?).

102 degrees in Boston today! Probably a bit more than that in fact!
