It's a picture I took. The part that's my icon is the wingspan of a male Libellula luctuosa.
2. What's your current relationship status?
Single, not looking.
3. Ever have a near-death experience?
No.
4. Name an obvious quality you have.
I am not particularly versed in the art of subtletly.
5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
I don't have a song in my head right now. My current favorite sing-along song is Sean Paul's Like Glue.
6. Any celebrity you would marry?
I don't want to be married to anyone.
7. Who will cut and paste this first?
Not sure. I don't shame my flist into doing this stuff.
8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
I have been told that I look like Bono (singer for U2) and like Ozzy (in the glasses I bought in Amsterdam).
9. Do you wear a watch? What kind?
I have a Swiss Army pocketwatch that I rather like but don't wear these days because my cellphone tells time.
10. Do you have anything pierced?
Three holes (total) in ears. I don't wear anything in them but they are still pierced.
11. Do you have any tattoos?
No.
12. Do you like pain?
French bread? Yeah, I'm a big fan.
13. Do you like to shop?
Not for clothes. For other stuff, yeah.
14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
Groceries on my way home this evening. Corn tortillas, two lemons, two avocados, half gallon proper milk, a bunch of peaches, cocktail peanuts, five pounds of sugar.

Gasoline, I betcha.
16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
My aunt Jackie, mere moments ago.
17. What/Who is on your desktop background?
At work it's default WindowsNT blue. At home, it's default WindowsXP blue.
18. What is the background on your cell phone?
The comes-free desert mesa thing. I'm not paying money to have a picture on my damn phone.
19. Do you like redheads?
I don't generally select for hair color.
20. Do you know any twins?
My cousins Josh and Heather are fraternal twins. My cousin Betsy's kids Zach and Madison are fraternal twins. My grandma Hunt and great uncle Charlie were twins.

It'd be easier to ask if I had any normal relatives.
22. What was the last movie you watched?
She's the Man (on DVD). In theaters, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest
23. What was the last book you read?
Hikaru no Go volume 7 (translated). Last book that wasn't mostly pictures was the Tuesday Erotica Club, which is a chicklit book with rather less pr0n than you probably think from reading that title. It was passable and an easy enough read. I didn't have to force myself through it.
