Winter riding is cold.

Took Bird for a spin after work. There was some sun, but it was not warm and the ground was pretty much frozen solid. Since all he has to do is marching walk and a very sedate jog while I work on flopping less in said sedate jog, the state of the ground is not a dealbreaker. But damn, I suck at stirrup-free riding in the sedate jog. I am floppy and middle-aged and it sucks balls.
