Nice outing today -- 7.85 miles in 2:07 with Laur along for company. She's fitter than I am (been working harder at it here lately) but kindly didn't get too far ahead of me. Last time I did that route with Garmin, I finished it in 2:10 with an average heart rate 2 bpm slower. That was in April. My question here is "Why am I not losing more conditioning?" I didn't do a whole lot this summer towards fitness and yet here I am, not in horrible shape. I'm not in the shape that I was right before Rothrock, but I'm also not back to ground zero, where I was when I started wa-jogging last November. Hrm. Three months off does not erase all gains. Kewlio. (Probably also my everyday life has at least some exercise parts.)

In other news, RHR is still around 60 BPM, drops below that if I'm lying down and totally relaxed. Go me.
