Nov. 2nd, 2010 03:55 pmThe people who were unsure of their lot sizes and locations and, while unsure, hired a woodcutter to fell trees that they mistakenly *thought* belonged to them have now hired a surveyor who has located and marked the corners of their lots. Yay! Now they can Cut Cut Cut until they don't have a single damn tree left on the property. YAY! Fantastic. I'm sure they will be thrilled. Treez R EBIL.
Also, their lot runs across the power line towards my house and contains a huge-ass oak tree and a small maple tree that are in what, visually, I had considered my yard. Clearly, it is not my yard. Oh, well. I can always hang up curtains. The trees are theirs. If they want to cut them, they are free to do so and I will not stop them from doing so or even be visibly upset (to them) about the felling. However, they cannot damage my trees (less than ten feet from their trees), set one tire or track of logging equipment on my yard, skid anything on my yard, drop branches on my yard, or otherwise damage or utilize my property in any way during the course of getting their super-valuable lumber (probably under 2K total) out. I will also need to save up for the construction of a solid fence so that I don't fucking have to look at their stupid fucking house once all the trees are gone.
*sigh*
