(no subject)

The function at Chez NYR went well and I didn't get lost en route, which was a nice change for me. I also didn't get lost returning home, something I score as a total win. On the food front, the eclairs disappeared in short order. The soup, not so much. I don't think it was because the soup sucked. It was lovely, unmashed garlic notwithstanding. I think the problem was more that we had several serious food options and it just got overlooked in the crowded field. Ah, well. I brought the soup home with me and will eat it here.
