Usually when I pimp something from the blue screen, it's a Youtube funny or similar. I don't generally refer to Metafilter for my economic news. Today, however, they have a nice round-up of stuff about the Fed and the recently-devised TAF (that wonky new funds-auctioning thing). Take a look here.

Today I made Mk. II caramels. This was not particularly for any grand desire on my part to eat more caramels, though they are tasty.
