(no subject)

I don't have much of an update today -- kind of quiet at work, dinner at Heather's, some rounds of the socks to the background of Hikaru no Go, which I like more than is probably suitable for someone of my age. (Yes, I can watch subtitled anime and do stranded colorwork from a chart. It's anime I've seen before and a chart I've been knitting since forever. I couldn't do both if either one were new to me but since both are well-traveled paths, I can multitask.)

I have six and a half inches of foot yet to go on the HoHI and the current progress doesn't look like much. It's not really worth the hassle of taking a picture. If you would like to imagine the current state of the socks, you can look at the last pictures and imagine that the gussets are about an inch long instead of half an inch.
