(no subject)

Yesterday I did a short spin on the horses (over to Calhoun's and back, way less than we usually do) just to make sure everyone was firing on all cylinders. Everything looks fine on that front and Phantom finally seems to be sound. Here's hoping. Today is bath day (we're washing the horses) and packing day (so that we have everything for The Ride, which is on Saturday). I'll be leaving early out of work on Friday and I should be back Saturday evening with updates and pictures. (I'm sure everyone is edge-of-seat on that front, but what the hell. Pretend like you're interested. I'm interested, after all, and that's what really counts.) The truck is supposed to be fixed. I'm picking it up today. I'll also have to get it hooked to the horse trailer tonight so that it's ready to go tomorrow. I probably also ought to start rounding up stuff so that it'll be easy to pack and we can get out of here in a reasonable time frame tomorrow.
