Apr. 20th, 2007 06:45 amWe are moving grandma's stuff out of the garage at 629 and into her room at the lodge today. It's about time -- her stuff has been in the garage almost exactly a year and she's pretty much stopped asking for it. I also have to show up at the hospital for bloodwork (required for the wrist-lump thing next Friday) and for that reason, I haven't had any food or drink since last night.
Why am I not allowed to eat or drink anything for twelve hours before bloodwork? Is this a test to see if I can follow directions? Is it some kind of sadistic doctor power-trip? Do they want to see how surly I get without food? Are they trying to determine if I'll fall over from not-eating so that they'll know whether or not they can tell me to not-eat for the surgery part?
*grumble*
I want my coffee.
