Today started at 4:30 AM, which is a bit early even for a country girl like me. (The sort of snickery sounds you hear in the background are from people who actually know me in real life and have spotted me before noon.) It was still dark outside but I didn't need light to know that it was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock.
