I've got horse activities planned for later today. Expect a late-evening update on that front. Also, I want to go play with the digital camera before the light gets too unmorning-y (morning light and late afternoon light are very nice for the taking-of-pictures) because daffodils are so very yellow and I think I want some pictures of them. They're yellow. (Wow. The peas. They're so green.)

The view for today was very satisfying. Nick did another stellar job at pretending to be a real riding horse. La took Mezcal along and hopped on her, first time ever for being ridden. She did a good job, quite solid about the whole thing. So that's one ride under Mezcal's belt. Good deal. Liss rode Absolut because both of her riding horses (Martini and Elklin) are hugely pregnant at the moment. She got along with Absolut quite well, made happy noises about going on with riding her the five months or so until the babies (not yet born) are weaned. That should work out well on both ends. Absolut needs to be ridden and Liss needs something to ride. All in all, it was a really pleasant, satisfying day out on the horse. So, y'know, yay.
