All day long we've had unseasonably warm weather with steel grey skies and pelting rain. However, the ground's thawed out from all the rain so I finally took the irises that ornery_chick mailed me and got them settled in the yard. They arrived over the weekend and looked great when they got here, even unto when I plopped them in the dirt this afternoon. Here's hoping they adapt to my yard and proliferate.

Right now, the thunder's rumbling outside. I don't think the weather knows it's wintertime.

Yay! I hope they do lovely things for you. I'll be keeping an eye on the spot where I planted the majority of the bulbs you sent me. I had a long, straight stretch of fenceline with nothing pretty growing there, so there's where I planted the bulbs from your garden. Here's hoping they do what they're meant to do.
