~ 10 YEARS AGO: ~ (1995)
1. I was attending Morgan State for a degree in Industrial Engieering.
2. I was working an internship at Aberdeen Proving Grounds doing audiology-related things.
3. I was mostly unaware of the internet.
4. I did not own a horse.
5. I was driving an Audi.
~ 5 YEARS AGO: ~ (2000)
1. I owned and operated an ISP.
2. I staffed for Otakon.
3. I owned a horse, a kitty, and a house.
4. I was still getting laid regularly.
5. I did not watch anime and had not yet discovered the glories of YBP.
~ 1 YEAR AGO ~ (2004)
1. I'd become a non-smoker.
2. I had a livejournal
3. I stopped staffing for Otakon. Creative differences, you know how it is...
4. I taught myself to knit.
5. I learned a shitload about dragonflies.
~ YESTERDAY ~ (Sunday, September 25, 2005)
1. Tried out the brand-new gooseneck hitch in the bed of my pickup.
2. Rode the IRH at the Shady Trails ride and scored a second-ever victory over her bucking. YAY!
3. Tried out my brand-new horse booties which were largely successful and didn't budge during the bucking.
4. Got up at quarter to six, as is usual.
5. Ate a peanut butter and jelly (grape, that I made) sandwich for breakfast, as is pretty normal.
~ TODAY ~ (Monday, Sept. 26, 2005)
1. Fixed three toilets (two fill valves and a wax ring) at work.
2. Also loaded up logs from tree from 200 into truck, spoke with Mr. Harris regarding the lateness of his rent, fixed a fuse at TA3.
3. Got bank statement in mail, considered plans for when current 3.5% rate expires at end of month.
4. Was pleasantly surprised to see that I made almost fifty bucks in interest this month on that account. YAY!! I are damn thrifty.
5. Forgot Moving Pictures for Maryalice. D'oh.

~ WHAT I WOULD DO WITH 100 MILLION DOLLARS ~
1. Invest it mostly in tax-advantaged bonds.
2. I can't pay off my house or my car or my truck. They are paid off. I do not want a different car or truck because if I did, I would have them already.
3. I wouldn't go buy tons of consumer goods. I don't want more stuff. More toys does not make for more fun. More toys makes for more hassle and more toy maintaining. More fun comes from playing more with the toys one already has, assuming one already has a few toys.
4. I might get a horse trailer, but they're like five, six grand which is not that much and I'm shopping for that in real life. It's not like a fantasy purchase. I don't *want* a fancy expensive one. I would not want a fancy expensive one even if money were not an object. (Money is not currently an object. I'll pay cash for whatever trailer I buy.) I want a basic three or four horse sized gooseneck stock trailer and that's what I would want if I had a hundred million dollars, too.
5. I could buy a horse farm around here (Ruth Fletcher's place is really pretty) but then I'd have to maintain it and such and I don't know that I'd enjoy the maintaining thing very damn much anyway. I also would not enjoy interviewing and hiring and supervising someone ELSE who could maintain the place. Not sure that'd result in a net win on the happiness front.
