I so totally failed. And I don't even think I'm that dumb, either. Strange how citizens have to know these things.

It's apparently based on stuff that persons becoming naturalized citizens have to know, though my employee Ed says that the actual naturalized-citizen test is a lot harder. (I don't know how he knows that -- he was born here. He missed five on this, btw.) I rather expect that the government wants more of an effort from naturalized citizens.
