I would like to state for the record that the Microsoft Knowledge Base solution for the Windows XP error message "Cannot log on to user profile" is unsatisfactory. It is wholly and entirely unsatisfactory.

1. I don't fucking want to log into my computer. I would not have a fucking user profile except Windows XP MADE ME have one.
2. Should my fucking stupid ass user profile die, I would like for there to be a simple, workable solution for fix0ring the problem.
3. I do not want to be told to "create a new profile" and that, my darlings, is the knowledge base solution that is available to me.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base says "Yeah, it does that, sometimes. Make a new one." This is the level of technical support that the Knowledge Base offers me. I'm supposed to create a new user account. Right.

I suppose if my fucking car broke down, they'd tell me to buy another car.

Look, you assholes, you MADE ME have a user account. By default, you installed all of the stuff I did since I got the computer INTO THE FUCKING USER ACCOUNT. Swell. That's really damn fucking helpful of you, I'm sure, on the off chance that fifteen of my closest friends ALSO use my laptop. Way to go with that. And now, when the FUCKING USER PROFILE is borked, you tell me that I'm supposed to go make a new one.

Assholes.

Yes, I can copy the stuff from the Old User Profile to the New User Profile and move all the things I actually want to keep to a directory where I've disabled the fucking user profile tentacles, but I should not have to do this and it irritates me that I have to do it. More, I am irritated by the "Yeah, it does that sometimes" attitude of the fucking Microsoft Knowledge Base. Knowledge base, my ass.
