I don't meme all that much, but I do follow Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books, so, y'know...

Which Character Are You?

I'm Tywin Lannister, heaven help me.

Hey, at least you're not Tyrion Lannister. (I have to reread these. How long did Tywin last? He's dead, right?)

This is such an awesome meme.

I'm Samwell Tarley. Eric is Ned Stark! Too bad we both bought it (but then, who hasn't?)

Try changing the last question. It appears to be weighted heavily :)

You want me to lie!?

I was at the bank the other day depositing a check to an account held by grandma (Sarah) and my dad. (This wasn't at our regular bank or our semi-regular bank but at a very-infrequently-used bank. The other banks know who I am by sight.) Nobody had signed the check, so the lady at the counter said "Sarah? You forgot to sign this..." and I said "I'm not Sarah." At that point, Roy kicked me and said he knew I was going to do that. But I'm not Sarah and I'm not going to say I am. And if my views on sex are "I miss it", then that's what I'm going to say.

It's kind of an incomplete answer, to be sure, but they didn't have "I've pretty much given up on sex even though I like it because I can't abide the amount of fucking around in one's personal life that the people one is fucking attempt to do."

Samwell Tarly. I think the "are you in shape" question almost defaults to him - he's pretty much the only overweight character in the book, given, y'know, the whole "half the world on the starvation edge of hunger" thing.

Well... no, more like play around and have fun with it, you know, get your real answer then hit "back" and try another one, hit "back" and try again, etc, till you've exhausted the possibilities :)

Hmm. Wasn't it more like "are you athletic"? I said no just because, you know, I'd like to be much fitter. I'm thin and all but I don't have good enough stamina and my joints keep getting creaky because I don't exercise them enough.

Well, given that I had apparently forgotten big, fat, hammer-swingin' King Robert, I think my argument has worse faults than that, but still, another point 'gainst me, I do admit.

I can't be expected to remember people who die partway through the first book, damn it. And yes, the meme has got me rereading the fucking books. Like once through wasn't enough. I started 'em again last night and am currently on page 612 of book 1 (I read rather quickly for a mere human) so expect to be done with them sometime next week, whereupon I will be all kinds of up to speed on who kills whom and when, at least for a while. My memories of these books are like a watercolor painting left in the rain -- after a while everything runs together. This time through, I find myself rooting for The Hound Clegane and the dwarf Tyrion and, of course, Daenerys because who wouldn't want to be sold to a horselord? And dragons. D'oh. Of COURSE I'm cheering for the dragons.
