One a day, plus iron

Took Bird for a spin after work, mostly work on walk-trot transitions (the downwards are hard for us to maintain a nice outline and decent contact -- they're not as balanced and smooth as I would like) and some lateral efforts. I also played briefly with fancifying the canter as per DLB instructions, had what felt like preliminary success with that. We will revisit it repeatedly as summer wears on.
