I was pissed about the scarf and its dumb-ass color change mid-ball-of-yarn.



So, I fixed it.



Look! It's better. This is better. I am happier.

What do you think? Fringe or no fringe? Is my mom a fringe sort of person? We're a ways off from needing a fringe decision, but I like to have a plan even if the plan does not survive contact with the enemy.

No afghan progress to show you, was busy fixing the damn scarf.

It looks fixed to me. Perhaps the fringe could be a bit different color?

I was going to say "how???" - but I compared the before and after - and you snuck it in! I was actually thinking, when you posted the original picture - that the fix was going to be SUPER TEDIOUS to switch from one colour to the other to "mix" them all nicely together!

It looks really good though - totally worth the effort!

I might have had to mix it in if I was limited in terms of yarn, but the offending color appears to be a one-off event. (I wound multiple skeins into center-pull balls and the others all looked OK.)

Oh even better! Although now you have a teensy ball of the offending color that you need to find a use for!
