So the 4H is having a bake sale...

which_chickAnd while I do not have a 4H'er of my own by way of not having kids, I do have some association with the 4H and have been pressed into service as a provider of baked goods for the bake sale.
Baked goods. Baked goods that can be portioned and sold. I'm thinking quick-n-easy because I LIKE quick-n-easy. Also I am not too proud to do quick-n-easy as long as they are also good.
Relatively easy things I could make that are also (a) Things I like and (b) Things I have good recipes for.

My problem with bake sales is that you don't know what you're getting. Like, I am not sure I would spend money on someone else's brownies. Frequently the brownies at bake sales are boxed and you can taste the chemical flavor in them. Or at least I can. From-scratch brownies are way better than boxed. And there are never enough walnuts in other people's brownies. So, no.
Peanut brittle. As discussed here previously, I have some fairly hefty views on fucking peanut brittle. If you're going to eat the stuff, you might as well make it worth your while. High-quality ingredients, freshly-toasted peanuts, etc. There's a lot of shitty peanut brittle out there even when people make their own which frequently they do not.
I've also had some absolutely shitty oatmeal-raisin-walnut cookies in my life. You wouldn't think people could fuck up oatmeal raisin walnut cookies but they totally can. Overly sweet, overly cinnamon'd, contain some spice other than cinnamon, use cheap margarine instead of butter, stale walnuts, too many raisins... there are lots of ways to arrive at unsatisfactory cookies.
You may, at this juncture, be thinking that I am a person who just doesn't like baked goods. This is not true. I love the shit out of baked goods. I just don't love them indiscriminately. They have to be good, though.
