Sometimes, despite popular opinion, I try new things. Today's new thing was white peaches. The grocery store had 'em. They smelled like peaches. They were lightly soft to the touch. I bought four. I have eaten one. I will eat the other three, but that will be the end of my white peach experience. They are insipid and overly sweet. They are kind of dry. They do not taste enough like peaches.

Truth! My mom thinks they're delicately floral. Delicately floral is not what I'm looking for in a peach (or nectarine, for that matter) experience.
