I think my cousin needs a vacation.

I think the economy is seriously fucked. I haven't been saying it because it's not a useful or novel or enlightening observation to be making these days. Oil below forty-five dollars a barrel. WTF? It's well under two bucks at the pump for gasoline, too.

I think that government involvement in investment banking and in auto manufacturing is a perversion and a betrayal of the principles of a free market economy. Freedom to fail, yo.

I think that if I have to point out where the jokes are, they aren't funny anymore. Maybe they weren't ever funny to anyone but me in the first place. (There are a LOT of jokes that fit into the 'only funny to me' category. This used to bother me a lot more.)

I *still* think that Rammstein is one of the funniest things I've seen lately. Don't worry, though. The shiny will eventually wear off. Very few things (besides ponies) have chrome-plated shiny that never wears off.

I think I'm going to try adding some red pepper to the ineffective gingersnap cookies as well as some more ginger. Maybe I'll get that done tonight.

I think I'd better get started on bacon for relatives, which means buying a meat smoker sometime this week and talking to the meat buying place about getting some fucking sides of pork belly. This week. Seriously, this week.
