The difference between conservative and liberal talk radio, based on my experience, is that the conservatives are having a good time while the liberals are angry at everything. This applies to the blogs, too.

(I don't quite think this is a "party out of power" issue either. Rush Limbaugh was probably enjoying himself more when Clinton was president.)
