Oct. 18th, 2004 05:49 pmToday we're having, by special request, a list o' things to look at. Not-Your-Real, today is your lucky day!
Check 'em out -- some are quite entertaining.
The old website for Hanzi Smatter... they seem to be having domain issues with the new site. http://www.hanzismatter.com/ -- the misuse of Hanzi (Chinese) or Kanji (Japanese) characters, particularly in tattoos. Funny as hell.
One Good Thing -- Humanist, parent, owner of a sex toy shop. If I needed someone to ask about vibrators, I'd like to have someone like flea to talk to.
BoingBoing -- A directory of wonderful things. If you're a geek, you will find things here to delight and amaze.
Halfway Down the Danube -- Life in Romania. Educational.
11D -- Laura's life in the burbs with two kids, a hubby, and a liberal agenda.
To Philly, From Alaska, w/love -- young teacher moves from Philly to remote-ish Alaska.
John and Belle Have a Blog -- They live in Singapore! Previous entries have included some amazing recipes for pie and a really good (so good I stole it) picture of a whale penis.
I assume everyone already knows about AfAP and its Discussion Board, but I also account for probably a third of the stats on Mitch's blog, a constant highlight to my days. I... er... admire his prose. I'd also put in a link to Mark but I'm waiting for him to start updating more frequently first.
I read other stuff, too, some of it quite faithfully, but these were the ones I wanted to share for today.
