which_chickMore with the firewood thing. Haven't done much with the horse this week because when I get home from work, I unload the pickup and attempt to get caught up with the firewood situation. Thus far, I have been mostly unsuccessful on that front but I expect things to start improving now that all the tree has been hauled home.
We've been making some progress on the heroin tenant apartment. We got the entire back room torn off the building and thrown away. We got all the tenant things packed up or thrown away, as appropriate. (The final throw-away date is July 5, for those keeping track. Someone at the jail signed for Alecia's letter about the left-behind things.)
Tenants: When you write on the walls in Sharpie marker? That's not permanent. It's also not permanent when you carve shit into the woodwork. Nothing you do is permanent. Every single trace of your residence will be obliterated when you move and the place will look as if you never even existed. (It's mostly like that for homeowners, too, only they don't have to worry about it until they sell their houses.) Deal.
Also, I have recovered the missing horse bootie. My aunt Dora found it on a walk and passed it to SJ who returned it to me. There's fifty dollars I wasn't expecting to see again.
