Windows Defender: A utility that protects Windows XP computers from invasion by hostile software processes via the simple expedient of employing every available bit (*smirk*) of system resources to run Windows Defender. Seriously. The damn thing was slurping up so much crap that I couldn't get the fucking cursor to move... that, with no other windows open and no other softwares running. It was bizarre.

Norton (loaded clean from a CD) says the box is clean. AVG says the box is clean. Everything runs the way it's supposed to and my firewall doesn't pick up any unauthorized outbound things going on. The computer runs like a damn watch as soon as I turn off Windows Defender. I turn Windows Defender back on and the machine slows to an unusable crawl. I gotta say that I think I know where the hostile software is and I'm pretty sure I got it from the internets... in the last system update from Microsoft. Folks in Redmond: If you make the cure worse than the disease, you are kind of missing the point.

I didn't remove the instrumentals -- that was a comment from the person who meme'd before me that I forgot to edit out. Orange Blossom Special has no vocals and neither does Pontiaka. My bad.
