Progress continues.

It doesn't look like much, I know, but it's progress. It'd probably go faster if I weren't there looking at it all the time, going Damn, this is cool.

I was going to post simply "Race you!" With a picture of the next sock in progress, but the interwob is conspiring against me re: picture of sock. It's pretty much the same as the other socks, though.

Hrmph. You'll totally kick my ass if you're doing plain socks at something approaching a reasonable gauge. The HoHI are turning out to be 11 sts/rows to the inch, which won't overly affect fit but which does make progress very, very incremental. It's not so bad that the little pictures there represent actual size but it's close.

9 st/11.5 rows/inch. But yeah, pretty plain. They're gonna have a pattern going up the back.
It always feels (to me) like colorwork is going faster than plain ol' knitting, but that's probably just because I like it more so I get distracted less by the internets (and, therefore, knit more in the same amount of time.)
