Oct. 7th, 2006 04:28 pmSo, how'd the painting go?
I didn't get horrible amounts of paint on me AND I came home with new music. New music is always a good thing and if it's music I don't have to work to find, well, hell. Even better. Here's the loot...
The Pogues : If I Should Fall From Grace With God
Tricky: Maxinquaye
The Stone Roses: The Stone Roses
The Stone Roses: The Complete Stone Roses
The Prodigy: Experience
Finley Quaye: Maverick A Strike
Cornershop: When I Was Born for the 7th Time
I also have the case (CD is missing) for Levellers: A Weapon Called the Word (I shall have to make inquiries on that front.)
I have heard of exactly one of these and that'd be the Pogues. I couldn't tell you anything they sang or whatever, but at least I'd heard the name. The rest, hell, I don't know jack about 'em, never even heard of 'em. Since I wanted things new to me, this suits me fine. I'm in the process of making .mp3s here, and I'll know what this stuff sounds like in a little while.
Let us all think happy thoughts about the free online database of CD information which enables me to have correctly-identified tracks with no typing on my part.
