Sep. 18th, 2006 12:59 pmThe internet is a wonderful thing. Sadly, we're just now learning how to use it in ways that are safe, sane, and consensual... or at least wildly funny. Sometimes, we are only partially successful.
The really great thing about Craigslist is that you can use it for stuff. Useful stuff, stuff that you'd maybe like a little privacy for. After all, ain't nobody's business but your own. However, if you give over real name and pictures and stuff to someone you don't know from Adam, he or she can post that shit on the internets where a thousand million billion eyes will lookit the information and pictures and suddenly the whole world knows your name, can see your dick, knows where you work, has probably called your wife, and otherwise cornholed you without the benefit of lube.
I gotta say. Jason? Not sure you're entirely human, there, bub. On the plus side, thanks for making me suddenly think of myself as one caring, sharing chunk of compassionate human being -- that's not a side of the fence I get to be on very often. :)
Finally,
rfjason has a livejournal. You can follow the fallout from there... or wait for the NY Times to come forth with an article in two weeks when nobody is interested anymore. (That's what they did with the Canon in D guitar video. I can generally depend on the NYT to cover news from the internets at about the time it's well beyond *over*.)

Finally,
Some advice
